Do you skip your breakfasts, eat late at night or love drinking sodas rather than water? It’s high time you stopped those habits and start to eat right. These are few steps that can help you get started.

1. Always remember your healthy eating plate.

2.Don’t skip your breakfast. Your breakfast is the most important meal of the day! Your body gets enough fuel to make energy that you need to be very focused, productive and to be at your best all day. For those who are trying to loose weight, you’ll be able to have control over your hunger and food choices during the day. Your breakfast should include, whole grains, frozen or fresh fruits and vegetables as well as lean proteins.

3.If possible reduce your coffee and soda intakes. These have a lot of caffeine in them. Caffeine can interfere with sleep and make you lose energy before the end of the day. Replace your coffee intake with lots water and soda with fresh fruits or smoothie.

4.Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Each time you have those sugar cravings you can take a fresh fruit like watermelon, grapes, oranges instead.

5.You can also take your lunch to work. This can be achieved by proper meal planning before the new week starts. You can prepare your meals or lunch snacks over the weekend (this helps you to save time and money as well).

6.Cook your dinner. If you are the busy person, you can cook a batch of meals that you can portion out for dinner or lunches for the week. Sometimes you can pre-cut veggies, freeze broths and keep for when you need to cook.

7. Stay active! Eat, move and love life!
