It’s a new week and the empowerment challenge continues. This is the third week of the challenge and we will be empowering our tastes this week by reducing the amount of salt and sugar in our diets. Foods with high sodium content should be reduced and be swapped with those with high potassium. Canned soups, soda drinks, fast foods, barbecue sauce, ketchup, some cereals and frozen meals have high sodium content as well. Therefore, when you are shopping or want to eat any of these, check the sodium contents on the food labels before you buy. You can buy those with less sodium, remember too much everything is bad and too much salt leads to hypertension. Please share this challenge with a friend!
